Maigo got up off the couch and stood up, looking at Vance's anticipated look and Reks, who was about to leave.

"Y-yeah....." she murmured.

He sighed. "It is not wise for me to be here." He looked at Maigo. " I am human, my blood can be smelled by all Vampires and Werewolves so they can track our location." He tapped his head then.
"I have a sense which I can tell if anything not human is around so I can take care of myself for awhile, so if your worrying about me its quite nice of you but I'm fine."

"Whatever!" she exclaimed as she threw both arms up in the air in frustration. "I'm not gonna decide whether he gets to stay or not." she said, crossing her arms.

"Hey calm down! I was just asking your opinion on the matter. Reks, if that's your decision then that's your decision. Do what you want." Vance stepped out of the way of the door.

He tilted his hat down as Maigo yelled. "I will... leave. If you are in any trouble just yell my name." And he walked out the door into the shadow's.

Maigo walked back over to the couch, arms still crossed, and sat back down. She crossed her legs again and had her head facing towards the wall, eyes closed, as she let out a quiet disgruntled sigh.

"I'm gonna stay 'n here." she said.

"Alright then. I'll be back." He went out into the night and ran down some alleys till he arrived at a shopping center. He searched around inside, careful not to alert anything of his presence, and was able to acquire some food. He then set off for the house.

Maigo got off the couch after spending a few minutes trying to cool herself down. She placed her arms back by her side as she walked over by the door, looking outside.

Yeah, Vance is fine. she thought as she walked back to the middle of the room, pacing back and forth awaiting his return.

Vance started to approach the house, then noticed a couple of werewolves about 150 yards behind him. They were heading in another direction, but he made a mental note to cover his scent next time. He turned around, walked in a few circles around a few blocks, and then covered his scent when he finally approached the house. "I'll have to remember that next time I go out..."

Maigo walked back over to the door, looking around outside and spotted Vance.

"Nice. You made it back in one piece." she said.

"More or less. At least I found food." He stepped inside and set out the meager amounts of food he had found: a couple loaves of bread, some coke, a few energy bars, still fresh fruit, and condiments. "Not much all and all, but it'll have to do..."

"Right.." she sighed. "So what're we supposed to do next?" she asked, not yet laying a hand on the food and drinks.

"Well I'm not sure. If you've got somewhere that you're planning on going to then I suppose we'll probably go our separate ways." He sat down on the couch to rest for a moment after all the walking.

Maigo placed a finger on her chin, pondering the situation. Again, she crossed her arms and started to head for the door.

"Your right, I really don't have much more to do here. And I'd be better off visiting new places." she began. "Well, then...I guess I'll see you later." she said to Vance, not waiting for a response while she was walking out the door. She spread out her wings once again to begin to fly off to who knows where.

And I'll see you again, Reks. You'd better not be harming any more Vampires.

She stopped in mid-flight and looked back down at Vance. "Hey, how're you gonna get out of here alive?" she asked.

He stood outside and looked up at her."Hey you forgot this!" He threw a loaf of bread to her. "Be seeing ya!" With that, he packed his bag with the food and drink, and ran out into the night.
