Her mood was very good for some reason just then. She turned suddenly to the left, walking now towards one of the many bridges located over the Seine River.
"So where else have you been?" she asked as they walked.

"Thats about it really. I've wanted to see the world but... well ya I've never really had the chance." He laughed. "Plus with the meager pocket change I have I can hardly afford a plane or boat ticket."

She'd forgotten what it was like not to have loads of money at her expense, but she was able to remember her human days easily. She frowned.

Vance was still skeptical, but decided not to press her for the details. He figured that it must have been a troubling memory from her past. "Jeeze, its getting colder. I didn't realize that Paris got so cold."

"Yes exactly! Who doesn't love the rain?" she said, still smiling.
The vampiress didn't know how to continue the conversation now, so she didn't add anything on to her comment, simply walked quietly while she waited for Vance to respond.
