Rek's eyes slowly opened, still dazed from the blood loss. He looked around "Maigo?..." He put his left arm out and pushed himself to his knee's. "Maigo?" He looked around, he was alone. Liquid fell from his hand as he raised it off the ground in pain, he looked at it. It was a crimson red. "Blood..." He looked down , there was a puddle of blood from where his arm was laying. "Great... from falling to the ground it caused the wound to worsen... Great.." He slowly got up and grabbed his sword and used it as a cane. He walked toward the edge and saw Maigo and Vance, he attempted to call out to them. "Vance... Maigo" It only came out as a weak yell, he coughed and struggled for his balance. "Damn it all..." His vision began to blur again as his legs shook. "Not... good" And his legs gave out, his body began to fall off the cliff as if in slow motion, his hat flew off his head and his hair flew back in the wind. The sword fell quicker and reached the bottom before he barely touched the air.
His eyes wandered the slowly moving buildings around him as he fell, it was weird... he never felt this before.

"Whatever, he's actually survived this far into the war...it's an accomplishment for him I'm sure. You'd best check on Reks if you want him to live. He's in the same place as always." she said, glaring at Vance as she left the ground. "I'm gonna be in the area, hell If I know where." she flew a little to the left of the direction Reks was in, towards another rooftop. In mid-flight, she could still sense where Reks was but a bad feeling had come over her along with it.

I don't care..if he dies. she thought as she continued on her way. However, unknown to her she had flown TOWARDS Reks instead of away.

He felt the air around him move, it was something he had never experienced before. His arm felt no pain, everything was just plain and simple, everything moved so slow he could probably think a second could be an hour. It felt so peaceful to him...

Vance saw Reks fall from the roof, jarring him completely to his senses. "REEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He ran towards Reks body as it fell through the air, adding extra speed in an effort to save him. "MAIGO!!! GRAB HIM!!!"

Maigo immediately looked around her in mid-flight as she saw the free falling Reks. Of course, this immediately put her into a state of shock. All time around her also seemed to move slower than normal.

I don't care if he dies. were the words that echoed in her head repeatedly. Before she knew it she was already half-way on a collision course to Reks. "No way..." she whispered as time around her suddenly sped up again. She noticed she was going at an abnormally fast speed towards him. It was only a matter of seconds before she had threw her arms out to catch him from below, but, instead had crashed directly into him. However, she still caught him but lost her control and fell towards the ground. She seemed to lessen some of the impact.

"Damn it." she muttered as she lost consciousness.

Rek's felt somebody grab him but still felt himself and the person falling. He looked over to see Maigo, he smiled and turned her upwards, so his back faced the ground. "If we're both going to fall.... I"m going to be the one who falls and hits." He felt time go back slowly as things got faster again. "Good bye... Maigo" His body it the ground and he felt a crack fill a part of his body, although he couldn't tell where. A few tears went to his eyes as he looked up at Maigo, he smiled and let darkness take him .

Vance dived under them at the last second, hearing his spine crack in multiple places. "A-at least... y-you g-g-guys are... s-safe..."

She had regained consciousness a few seconds later, being it was only from the force of impact. The first thing she saw was Reks, who was right in front of her. A dejected, wrecked, shocked, confused, angry, and a mix of many more emotions came over her face as she looked down at Reks, who, apparently wasn't moving.

Vance coughed, bringing up blood. "D-dang... not good... I can't m-move..."

"The hell.." she whispered, looking at Reks in shock. "Why'd I do that?"

Maigo hadn't the energy to move, nor did she feel like it. All she did was roll off of Reks and onto the ground on her back, looking up in the sky with whirling thoughts.

Feeling the loss of pressure, Vance tried to stand. He stumbled twice but finally managed to get on his feet. "Maigo... a-a-are y-you alr-right?" He leaned over her then cried out in pain and fell back to the ground.

Then she became a little more aware of the situation at hand.

"V-vance....REKS!?" she panted as she crawled up onto Reks again looking at his face to see if he was moving. "Wake up Reks! WAKE UP!!" she yelled as she cling to his shirt. "Vance...Reks...!!!" she muttered as she dug her face into his shirt. "Whaddowedo!?" came a muffled voice, the shock finally setting in.

Vance struggled to sit up, the only thing keeping him from being entirely paralyzed was his extra strength from being half werewolf. "I-if we... h-hurry then w-we... could s-save him..."

Maigo lifted her head out of his shirt, an obvious expression now of concern covered her face. "What do you have in mind?!"

"Do you have any energy left?" He stood up again, a little shakily at first but with confidence after a few seconds.
