Rek's stepped to the side so he could see Maigo once again, he couldn't tell what was going through her mind. "What has happened to her?" He thought. "I haven't seen her like this at all before..." He shook his head and picked his hat back up and set it onto his head once more."Maigo, whats wrong?" He said out loud this time as he moved beside Vance and took a step to her. "You have to tell us, what has been going on with you?"

Maigo didn't move a muscle because her body had once again became stiff, nor did she say anything in response. She wobbled a bit to the left but quickly regained her balance. She closed her eyes, wishing that all this right now was just a dream.

Vance sighed. "Alright then, if you don't wanna say then you don't have to." He walked off and turned the corner, disappearing from their sight.

Maigo opened one eye to look at Reks. "S-see? He says it's alright if I don't want to...say..it..[/i] she muttered and stiffly took another step back before a thought came to her mind. "..We're...alone.." that thought had come out verbally instead of staying in her head like it should have, but that didn't make much of a difference now. A wry, but gentle smile ever-so-slowly spread over her face. "Reks, this is it.." she said quietly though happily.

I don't know where to go.

Although she was on the brink of attacking him, Maigo stood there completely still and silent.

"You didn't honestly expect me to just leave you two alone now did ya? He looked down on them from the fire escape above. "That would be idiotic."

Rek's sighed and turned around, his back now facing Maigo. "If you want me to leave Maigo... just tell me." He clenched his hand tightly and felt droplets of blood in his palm. He did not want to leave her but it seemed like his presence only made things more difficult as they already were.

She'd been in this spot before, but surely she wouldn't react the same as she did last time.

"If you want to live you'd best leave." she said unconsciously. Her smile was still on her face as she paused for a few seconds. "Now." her smile faded and a more serious expression came over her face.

This time she actually hesitated to take a step back as though one half of her wanted to move towards Reks and the other half wanted to go away from him. So that's it, huh? THAT'S why I did it. she thought, smiling at him once again. "I can't say I enjoyed the visit." she bit her lip and practically used all she had in her to force herself to run back to a safer distance. If I'm gonna fight anyone it has to be myself. she thought. ..not here.. she stopped running and immediately flit out of sight.
