Katrien's smile slowly vanished.
"Oh." was all she could think to say. Vance was obviously not quite so happy anymore, and she didn't want to say anything offensive.

Struck utterly dumbfounded, Kai slowly descended from teh stairs. he was asked many questions from Levin, having flew by him the first time he would have seen him. Kai couldn't even hear the questions, however, and only walked out of the house. "Vance, what the hell happened? I haven't seen you since Russia!"

Noticing Kai, he turned back to him. "I caught a lift, one way or the other." He grinned and then dropped the grin as he stared off again. "They almost got me, and still might, but I'm making my way in life."

"But... I don't get it. I killed you there." Kai was ready to Phase at any point in time, but he wating for the right reason. He was supposed to be forgiving as the Alpha werewolf, but this crossed the line.

Katy was thorghouly confused, now. But she didn't interrupt the two of them, only stayed at the ready to step in if a fight ensued.
