Katrien pushed open the pub door and stepped out onto the street. She looked around quickly before beginning to walk forward. Almost everyone she passed was a vampire, which her made her feel much more comfortable to just walk than she would've been otherwise. It was getting later by the minute and the sky had already gone black. Katrien put her hands in her pockets and sighed as she walked. Somehow she became slightly jealous when she looked forward and saw a young vampire couple walking down the street in the other direction. Why don't I ever have someone to walk with? she thinks to herself miserably and sighs again. Sometimes being a vampire is just so damn lonely.

Vance was standing around near the rubble of a destroyed building. He noticed Katy walking by and byt the sad expression on her face he could tell she was bummed out about something. He walked quickly and caught up with her. "Hey long time no see, eh? What are you so bummed about?"

Katy looks up at the sound of a familiar voice.
"Oh. Hi Vance." she says. "And I don't know, I've just been feeling sort of lonely lately I guess."

Savris walks in in human form and looks at them both

" hey vance!, and who is this beautiful young lady?"
he asked as he look at Katrien

"This would be a friend of mine, Katrien. We met a while back, in England. And, I'm sorry to hear that you've been lonely lately. If you don't mind, I'll walk with you for a while." He grinned and walked next to Katrien.

Savris stares at Vance with jelously

Katrien smiles self-consciously as she walks. If I was human, I would so be blushing right now. She thinks to herself.
"So who's your friend, Vance?" she asks.

"Someone I've met a while back, an acquaintance of mine, per-say." He said, looking over his shoulder briefly.

"Ah. Well he's, um, interesting." Katy says.
There's then a moment of silence which she breaks by saying; "Thanks for walking with me."

"It's alright, if you needed a friend you should have just said something." He grinned again. "Besides, its fun to hang out with you."

Katy laughs slightly.
"Thanks. And I'll keep that in mind next time I want company." she says.

Vance laughed too, keeping in step with Katy.

"So what are you doing in Dublin, anyway?" Katy asks after a moment.

"Still traveling, going place to place. I haven't found a suitable place to settle down at yet, and people have not accepted the possibility of co-existence yet." He sighed softly. "Its like here, and both of us. We have no problem talking to each other, and the vampires around here have no problem with us. But elsewhere, we're both shunned and despised."

Katy sighed as well, frowning slightly.
"I know. It's sad. Sometimes I think we're worse off now that everyone knows about us than we were just myths. At least then we could go where we wanted without getting attacked." she says.
